Welcome to my world of photography!
I was born in Germany, where I lived for most of my life before moving to the UK and finally to sunny Arizona in 2008. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have been exposed to different cultures and forms of art, while making wonderful friends from all over the world.
Inspired by my architectural background, I am fascinated by man's and nature's creations alike, and I strive to capture their beauties and intricacies with my photography. My ultimate goal, however, is to trigger emotions with my images.
Pet photography has a special place in my heart, because I can't help but love dogs, in particular our black Labrador Dutch (aka "the best dog in the world") who was my muse and inspiration! In fact, one of his photos gave me the courage to follow my dream and pursue a career in photography. Although he has since passed on, his legacy lives on in every photo I take.
Since the summer of 2016, I have been working freelance as an editorial photographer for local publications such as So Scottsdale and Uptown Magazine. I love creating environmental portraits of the interesting people I get to meet while on assignment, helping to tell their story with my images. No job is the same, and I never get bored! :)
Whenever possible, I like to use my photographic skills in a variety of volunteer work, including Kids in Focus, a local non-profit helping at risk youth, as well as Desert Labrador Retriever Rescue, a local dog rescue.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my website; I hope you enjoy the excursion.
